Python Developer (Renewable Energy Sources)

Work place: remote

What will you do:

• Develop a numerical tool for simulation of air currents in complex terrain based on a Large Eddy Simulation,
• Validate physics model of CFD solver,
• Program a Python tool chain around CFD solver,
• Accelerate the simulation setup (e.g. map handling, simulation configuration),
• Simulation live monitoring,
• Operate on the High Performance Cluster,
• Add post-processing features,
• Implement a data converter towards tools in other departments.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• Programming new data processing features (ideally with TDD) is natural to you like breath,
• You’re willing and able to make suggestions and implement a clean architecture of new code parts,
• You can employ design patterns,
• You’re familiar with refractoring of legacy Python code to object oriented structure,
• You aim at clean architecture,
• You provide a decent in-code documentation (for Sphinx),
• You apply basics of UML to communicate ideas.
